Enjoy a free screening of the documentary “Activized,” a film that raises difficult questions on the issues of gun violence prevention, voting rights, and immigrants' rights.

Two showings. Light refreshments provided. The 6 p.m. screening will be followed by a discussion with the film's director, Eric Stange, moderated by Minneapolis filmmaker and activist Kay Hannahan.

The issues raised in this film may touch deeply held beliefs, fears, and passions. Dialogue allows all participants a respectful environment to share your ideas, concerns, and opinions.

An exhibit of resource materials on the U.S. Constitution, voting rights, and the 2020 Census will be available in the Founders Hall Reception Area from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., curated by Library and Learning Center.

Co-sponsored by the Metropolitan State University School of Communication, Writing, and the Arts / Screenwriting and Film Department, Library and Information Services, and the Institute for Community Engagement and Scholarship.
