When a group of college students challenged the divisive rhetoric of the term "illegal aliens," a library cataloging term became a flashpoint in the national immigration debate.

Attend a film screening and discussion on Friday, March 20 in the Metropolitan State University, Founders Hall Auditorium. The screening is free and open to the public.

• Reception 5 to 6 p.m.
• Screening 6 to 8 p.m. followed by a discussion with guest speaker Tina Gross, a St. Cloud University librarian and social responsibilities advocate who is featured in the documentary.

"Change the Subject" tells the story of a group of students at Dartmouth College whose singular effort at confronting anti-immigrant sentiment in their library catalog took them all the way to the halls of Congress, showing how an instance of campus activism entered the national spotlight and became a flashpoint in the immigration debate on Capitol Hill.
