Body Works FSS

First Saturday Science is a program designed by Metropolitan State University's Institute for Community Engagement and Scholarship (ICES) for community children of all ages to expand their exposure to science. Once a month, students are guided through an exploration of a specific field of inquiry in a hands-on laboratory.

December's science theme is Body Works. Kids of all ages are invited to learn more about the amazing biological machine known as the human body.

The goal of this program is to demonstrate the accessibility of science: that it is for everyone to discover and experience and that it encompasses many diverse and realistic options for future careers.

No RSVP needed; simply show up at the venue at the right time. The event is free for kids of all ages (youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).
