Join us for an exploration of the intersection between our physical and online selves with featured speaker Dr. L Ayu Saraswati.

Ms. Saraswati is an award-winning author and professor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa. Her books include "Pain Generation: Social Media, "Feminist Activism, and the Neoliberal Selfie;" and "Seeing Beauty, Sensing Race in Transnational Indonesia."

She is the co-editor of "Introduction to Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Reader: Intersectional and Interdisciplinary Approaches" and "Feminist and Queer Theory: An Intersectional and Transnational Reader."

Her articles have appeared in "Feminist Studies;" "Meridians;" "Feminist Formations;" "Gender, Work, and Organization;" "Diogene;" "Women’s Studies International Forum;" and "Sexualities."
