Holiday concert

Celebrate the season with the MN Sinfonia's annual concert featuring favorite holiday classics.

The performance will be 7 to 9 p.m., Dec 5, in the Founders Hall Auditorium. Admission is free and children are encouraged to attend.

The concert program will be selected from the following works:

  • Waltz from Sleeping Beauty by Peter Tchaikovsky
  • Violin Concerto No. 1 in g minor, Allegro Moderato by Max Bruch, featuring Kana Aihara, winner of the Junior Division of the Mn Sinfonia Young Artist Competition
  • Chanukah in the Old Style arranged by Jay Fishman
  • Larghetto from Xerxes by Georg Frederich Handel
  • Winter Wonderland by Dick Smith & Felix Bernard
  • The First Noel (Traditional)
  • Divertimento K. 137 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
  • Fantasia on Greensleeves by Ralph Vaughan Williams
  • Jesus My Beloved Savior, BWV 78 by Johann Sebastian Bach
