Join CLA faculty members Andrew Carlson, Bilal Dameh, and Doug Rossinow for a discussion of the ongoing Palestine/Israel conflict. Thousands are dead in Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, following the killing of more than 1,400 Israelis by Hamas Militants on October 7. Almost all the dead are civilians, including hundreds of Palestinian children. People around the world are filled with fear, anger, and anxiety about the future.

We invite members of the university community and others to a session where three Metro State faculty members who teach about Palestine and Israel will make remarks, take questions, and initiate a discussion featuring information and perspectives not easily found elsewhere. Join us online via Zoom.

This is a Passport eligible event for categories 5 (race and culture) and 9 (religion and spirituality).
