Howard’s landmark book, We Can't Teach What We Don't Know: White Teachers/Multiracial Schools, 3rd Edition (2016), is considered a groundbreaking work examining issues of privilege, power, and the role of White leaders and educators in a multicultural society. Attendees will receive chapters 1, 2, and 7 of We Can't Teach What We Don't Know: White Teachers/Multiracial Schools and the first 25 registrants will receive a free copy of the book in the mail. This Zoom event is made possible with a grant from the Center for Faculty Development, written by Nadine Haley and Victor Cole, and presented by Metropolitan State University's School of Urban Education.
