Hispanic Heritage Month—Telling our stories: Hispanic and Latinx communities in Minnesota, Juventino Meza, Juris Doctor

Please join us in the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! This in-person event is open to all students, faculty, and staff. The event will feature keynote speaker Juventino Meza and a panel of Latinx members of the Metro State Community

Can't make it in person? This event is also available in webinar format.

Through storytelling, participants will learn how the Latinx community makes Minnesota more vibrant, resilient, and equitable. Participants will be invited to take action in helping more Latinx students thrive and succeed in higher education. Join us in celebrating and recognizing the impact this community has made in our state.

Appetizers from local Latinx vendors will be served to those attending in person. This is a passport eligible event – category #5. For more information, email OEI@metrostate.edu.
