Did you know that the air you breathe is mostly made of nitrogen gas?

Youth scientists are invited to join the First Saturday Science (FSS) team as we explore the science behind the Atmosphere, a mixture of gases that surrounds planet Earth. For this month’s fun laboratory activity, our FSS team will conduct a demonstration of air density.

Join us on YouTube for this hourlong live-streamed event! Free and open to the public. Ideal for ages 6-12.

To receive additional content on the first Saturday of each month, please join our email list by contacting FSS Student Coordinator Alyssia Bell at alyssia.bell@my.metrostate.edu. April's supplemental videos will feature how to create a cloud, as well as your very own mini-tornado, right at home!

Co-sponsored by Metropolitan State University's College of Sciences and the Institute for Community Engagement and Scholarship. For further information, please contact community engagement at community.engagement@metrostate.edu.
