All staff, faculty, and students are encouraged to attend this special visit by Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon to promote voting in 2024!

This brief, powerful event takes place in-person in the Library and Learning Center, third floor, Ecolab room 302, this Thursday, September 26 starting promptly at 12:30 p.m. There is also an option to watch on Zoom.

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon will be joined by a Metro State student and faculty member to talk about the importance of voting for our college and university students, access to elections, and changes in the law that benefit collegiate voters. Secretary Simon will also officially announce the four winning campuses of the 2022 Democracy Cup, Minnesota’s Collegiate Voter Turnout Competition.
