Come join us to play in the dirt! We will be running over why we need to stratify seeds, what items around your home can be used to cold stratify, and doing a step by step tutorial walking you through how to do it. At the end of the day, you should be all set to go home and watch your seeds sprout when the Spring comes!
Additionally, we would like to showcase our growing space in the Metro State GROW IT Center to see more of our process and how we go from seed collecting to raising plant starts in the Spring.
This workshop will focus on annuals and direct sowing plants that you can start indoors even if Minnesota hasn't made up its mind about the weather yet.
