Metropolitan State receives thank you from Postmaster’s Office and veterans groups
Metro State Veterans Network and Metro Yellow Ribbon were thanked March 27 in a ceremony on campus for their efforts in supporting the “Ship, Shop and Share” event that took place over this past holiday season.
Breakfast at the Capitol
The Metropolitan State alumni Senator Sandra Pappas (’86) and Senator Roger Chamberlain (’01) took time to discuss legislative issues and answer questions from the audience of university alumni, students, staff and friends on Monday, March 24. The event master of ceremonies was Ramsey County Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt (’96, ’99).

Interim president appointee visits campus
Devinder Malhotra, St. Cloud State provost, named interim president for Metropolitan State by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities board of trustees, was presented to the Metropolitan State community at a morning reception on Jan. 23. He takes office July 1.
Workforce Center opens Metropolitan State and Inver Hills partnership
Inver Hills Community College and Metropolitan State began their partnership program at the South of the River Education Center with a ribbon-cutting and open house on Oct. 30. Check out the newsroom for more information.
