The Minnesota Civic Engagement Education Summit and Expo scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at Metropolitan State University, Founders Hall, Saint Paul Campus, has been postponed.

Register here for the event.

The event consists of a summit and expo, during which students can learn about Minnesota politics via presentations, panel discussions, question and answer sessions, conversations and networking with  party and community partners. Party recruitment teams will be at the event to speak with and welcome students to their respective local political districts. Entertainment programs will allow participants relax and enjoy the long day.

Dress code for the event requests that your attire reflects yourself and your culture. We want to reflect, promote, and proudly embrace our heritages  and diversity. Originality, identity, and diversity are honored in this space.

This event is a collaborative partnership between Metropolitan State University, the Minnesota Community Partners, and the Minnesota Political Parties. For additional information regarding the summit, contact student senators Heather Moenck (hy6681dy@metrostate.edu) and Aftab Osman (cs8211@metrostate.edu), or the program founder and director, Yemesrach Yohannes (wh9682tb@metrostate.edu).
