April 2-5: Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Week

Listen. Learn. Prevent.

Metropolitan State University has declared April 2-5 as Sexual Assault Awareness Week. Each day of the week will feature both open discussion, training for staff and faculty, and showings of the film Searching for Angela Shelton. These events will take place on our St. Paul Campus, in Student Center Room 101, located at 700 E 7th St, St Paul, MN 55106.

The schedule is as follows.

Monday, April 2: noon to  1 pm
– Open Discussion on affirmative consent and 1B.3 policy
– This event is for staff and faculty, but students are welcome to attend.  Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday. April 3: 4:15 to 5:45 pm

Wednesday, April 4: noon to 1 pm
– Bystander training for faculty and staff. Lunch will be provided
