April 8: Understanding and Responding to Mass Incarceration forum

You’re invited to a forum titled Understanding and Responding to Mass Incarceration: Voices from the Inside, 8 a.m.4 p.m., April 8 in the reception area and auditorium, Founders Hall, Saint Paul Campus. This forum features speakers Dr. Artika Tyner, author and professor, University of St. Thomas School of Law, and Danny Givens, pastor, Above Every Name Ministries and clergy liaison, Black Lives Matter Minneapolis. The event includes:

  • Voices of men, women and youth who are currently incarcerated
  • Discussion of related topics and strategies for change
  • Commitments to action

This event can be used as 6 hours of professional development activity through the Center for Faculty Development. Preregistration is required at this link. Buffet lunch is provided.
