The Student Nursing Organization is sponsoring an Ayurveda seminar noon–1 p.m., Wednesday, June 15 in New Main Room L209, Saint Paul Campus.
Thousands of years ago, Ayurveda medicine was founded on the belief that the body, mind and spirit needed to be be in harmony for healing to take place. Today, it is one of the most popular alternative forms of therapy for preventing and treating illnesses through the use of massage, oils and herbs.
This summer, the nursing student organization has partnered with Tanya Boigenzahn, Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, to teach this ancient healing art. Boigenzahn devotes her life to sharing the gifts of yoga, wellness and well-being with clarity, ease and joy while keeping in mind the constant evolution of the soul.
