Bruce Biser appointed interim Chief Financial Officer

Metropolitan State has appointed Bruce Biser as Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Administrative Affairs. He assumes his new role on Jan. 4, 2016 and serves until Oct. 30, 2016. The role may be extended at the discretion of the new president.

Biser is a seasoned executive leader in finance and operations, having served as CFO for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; Controller at Planned Parenthood of MN, ND and SD; Finance Director for the Minnesota Supreme Court; and an operations leader role at the Minnesota Department of Transportation. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force where he last held the role of comptroller.

Biser holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Troy State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Nebraska.
