Could you imagine a government run by the people, not money? The Minnesota Citizens for Clean Elections (Clean Elections MN) would like to invite you to a presentation by Jeff Clements, author of Corporations: Reclaiming Democracy from Big Money & Global Corporations. Clements serves as president of American Promise. He has practiced law in public and private work for three decades and is the founder of Whaleback Partners LLC, which serves as a finance business in the local agriculture economy.
The presentation will inform how a series of Supreme Court rulings opened the door to the Citizens United v FEC ruling, which is responsible for flooding our campaign system with unlimited money and what can be done to restore the American promise of fair and equal representation to the people. A Q & A will follow the presentation.
