Registration is now open for the 2018 Civic Engagement Summit: “A Better Minnesota Through Meaningful Engagement,” organized by the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.
The summit will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, June 6 at Metropolitan State University, Saint Paul Campus, 700 East Seventh Street, Saint Paul, 55106. University students, alumni, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
The summit is organized by the Minnesota Department of Human Rights to gather government and community members for an opportunity to exchange ideas and work together to build a collective vision for a more engaged Minnesota.
Conversation topics include:
- Developing inclusive and engaged processes to ensure all communities have a voice at policy making tables.
- Strengthening trust to have meaningful dialogue even when we disagree.
- Understanding how to be involved in the policy making process.
- Building a statewide vision and network for an engaged Minnesota between the public and all levels of government.
