From Plunkett’s Pest Control to 3M, the university’s Career Center is in daily contact with local and national employers who have wide ranging requests and needs.
A discussion titled “Employers and the Career Center: Who calls, what they want, why it’s important” will cover this part of the Career Center’s work and how it is trying to mobilize the campus community to connect Metropolitan State students and alumni with these employers.
The discussion will be from 9 to 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14 in the university library, room 308. Staff and faculty welcome. No RSVP needed.
Also in the planning stage is the Diversity Networking and Job Fair on Sept. 28, at the Student Center.
