Posted February 22, 2018

First Saturday Science returns on March 3 with Acids & Bases.

Acids and bases are everywhere. They are two groups of chemical compounds with opposite properties that are encountered frequently in the laboratory and in everyday life.

Youth and their families are invited to explore science at Metropolitan State University with fun laboratory experiments and activities. Free for all ages, but geared towards 11-14 year-olds. Open to the Metropolitan State University community and the public.

From noon to 2 p.m., March 3, at the Jason R. Carter Science Education Center, room 214.
