May 14: Theater Career Expo

The 2016 Theater Career Expo is on May 14 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Guthrie Theater, 818 South Second Street, Minneapolis.

This is a free event hosted by the GuthrieChildren’s Theatre CompanyMixed Blood Theatre Company and Mu Performing Arts.

Explore the possibilities of a career in the theater–onstage and off–by engaging with professional artists, technicians, craftspeople and arts administrators from across the Twin Cities’ dynamic theater community. Participate in workshops, tours, Q&A’s and much more.

Participants of all ages and levels of experience, including career-changers, are encouraged to attend presentations on “The Business of Theater,” “The Art of Theater,” “Theater Production” and other theater career paths.

Register in advance. Day of event registration is also available.

Assistive listening devices, sign language interpreters, real-time captioning, braille and large print materials, sighted guides and wheelchair access available as needed.
