Minnesota Communities Caring for Children will hold a public community conversation from 3-5 p.m, Friday, Nov. 11, Saint Paul Campus, Founders Hall auditorium.
Childhood Poverty and Stress: The Impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences on Health, will feature industry expert Dr. Roy Wade. Dr. Wade is member of the Philadelphia ACE Task Force, and co-creator of the Philadelphia Urban ACE Study. He will share research on the effects of trauma on Philadelphia’s urban population.
The community conversation will be followed by a one-hour question and answer session to discuss how Philadelphia’s model can inform community-based and systems efforts to improve health and reduce disparities in the Twin Cities.
