Need an item not available in Metropolitan State’s library collection?
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) can help. We will search for libraries that have what you are looking for. This service is provided free of charge to students, staff, faculty, and alumni. You will need the 14-digit barcode number from the back of your library card for this service.
- Are you sure we don't have it?
If it is an article you are looking for, have you checked our citation linker to see if we have a subscription to the journal? If it is a book or video, have you checked our library catalog?
- Need an ARTICLE from another library?
Use this article order form to order articles from magazines or journals. Or, if you are searching within a library database and find an article that is not full text, look for a "check for full text" icon. If no full text is found, you will be given a link to the Interlibrary Loan form with the item information filled out for you. Delivery times vary but it will usually take 3-5 days for the item to arrive, and we will often be able to send you the article in an email.
- Need a BOOK or VIDEO?
Use this book order form to order books, DVDs, or CDs, which you will need to pick up from the St. Paul library. Delivery times vary but it typically takes anywhere from five days to two weeks, depending on how widely available the item is.
