The Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) is a national nonpartisan project that helps administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders at America’s colleges and universities engage students in federal, state, and local elections. Combining their resources with personalized coaching, CEEP guides schools on how to use their resources and navigate students through ever-changing barriers to voting. Schools then help their students to register, volunteer in campaigns, educate themselves on candidates and issues, navigate confusing voting laws, and turn out at the polls. In 2016, CEEP worked with over 300 campuses with a combined enrollment of 3.5 million students, and partner organizations distributed resources to another 1,000 schools. They spent 2017 helping campuses develop ongoing engagement strategies while getting students directly involved in election races.

Now, CEEP is engaging students in the 2018 elections. CEEP is producing non-partisan candidate guides for major statewide races in the 2018 midterm elections. To help students navigate candidate stances, CEEP researches significant votes and what candidates actually say to different groups, not just how they spin their positions. Use their guide distribution resource to help share them across Metropolitan State University campuses.
