Description: MPNA 699 Topics in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management explores a variety of contemporary issues in public administration and nonprofit management in greater detail. The focus keeps changing to keep pace with new issues and new circumstances. This version of the course will examine the process and dynamics through which agencies, professionals, and citizens partner to develop and join cooperative problem-solving communities. We will focus on evidence-based practices that foster inclusion, collaboration, and authentic community building. The course affords an opportunity for analysis of diverse communities, including an examination of the influence of various communities on non-profits, government agencies, and society in general.
