Report of the burglary at Burger King
A burglary was reported to the Saint Paul Police by employees at Burger King, across Seventh Street from the Student Center, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Monday morning on 5/15/17. Public details can be found in this Twin Cities Pioneer Press article “Police are investigating after two robbers forced workers at a St. Paul fast food restaurant into the walk-in freezer and pistol-whipped the manager before getting away with cash over the weekend.” University Public Safety officials offered support to this police investigation by viewing exterior camera footage and working directly with the lead police investigator. While no one at the university was involved or affected, this is a good opportunity to review the following safety interests.
