The Dayton's Bluff Book Club is a collaboration between the Metropolitan State University Library and the Dayton's Bluff Branch of Saint Paul Public Library. Titles are chosen for their local connections or diverse authors. Discussions include issues related social justice, equity, and anti-racism and are frequently led by authors, Metropolitan State faculty, or other guests from the community. The club meets six times a year.
For further information, including readings, schedule, and the registration form, please see the club website.
The Teens Know Best (TKB) book club is for teens 12-18 who want to read and review young adult (YA) books before the general public gets them. Publishers read TKB member reviews and use them to influence their future publishing decisions. The program is administered jointly by the St. Paul Public Library and Metropolitan State University. Visit this page for more information and application forms.
The third Tuesday of every month the library hosts game nights in the First Floor Lounge from 4:00 - 7:00. Classic and modern video games and board games are available to students, staff, and the public. All ages welcome.
