I acquired my bachelor's degree in accounting in Australia in 2007. After that, I went back to China to serve as an instructor and external affairs officer at Jiangnan University- North American College, which is a trans-national cooperative college in Wuxi or four years. I felt that I still needed to get a Master's or PhD to better develop in the higher education field.
My husband's previous instructor was the Dean of the College of Management at Metropolitan State University. He introduced this university to us. We researched information about Metropolitan State on the Internet and found out it is an excellent and affordable university. Then, we decided to come to Metropolitan State together.
I like the writing center at Metropolitan State. Tutors there helped me correct grammar, APA style and spelling every time with great patience. My writing skills have improved a lot. There are also many opportunities, such as the Midwest Academy of Management, which broadened my horizons. I went to the 55th annual meeting in Chicago in October of 2012 with my professor Jennifer. It was a pleasant experience. I met many excellent professors and graduate or PhD students from different universities that presented their papers. Furthermore, I do like all the professors at Metropolitan State; they all have high-level educational backgrounds and are very friendly.
