Security Ambassador Program

Posted Friday, August 28, 2020 | Security

I am pleased to announce that we will be launching our Security Ambassador Work Study program! I am very excited to add this next level to the Security program and looking forward to the evolution of the program as well! With this program, we are very excited to see an increased comfort for all on our campus! The Security Ambassador program will be an extension of our Security Department as a concierge and additional set of safety eyes!

What is the Security Ambassador program?

Great question! This new program is an added component of our university’s safety and security program. Security Ambassadors will be an integral part of the security department. Ambassadors will guide visitors to their desired campus locations, staff the campus access sites, assist community members, respond to daily calls such as door locks/unlocks, conduct safety escorts, be an extra pair of eyes for our facility team, and much more! We are currently accepting applications from eligible work study students only.

If I know of a student that would be interested, what should I do?

Current work study and student worker opportunities can be found in the Student Employment section of the website. Look for the “Student Security Ambassador” position!
