Major job duties

Help with general office management including, but not limited to, filing, answering phones and other phone communication, greeting students and other visitors to the space(s) and directing them as needed, copying, faxing, mailings and more; providing breaks for our office coordinator. Administrative support to employees in the suite or other related areas as needed. Assist with programming efforts related to departments that are part of Dean of Students services.
Serve as ambassador for student success program efforts by publicizing them in various ways.

Staff Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) drop in space or other spaces as needed. Possibly work with CRP to develop trainings and other educational opportunities.

Qualifications and experience

Effective written and oral communication skills including professional communications using email, telephone, and personal interactions. Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Proficient with Microsoft programs. Adept at creating flyers, working with social media advertising, and other marketing strategies. General familiarity with office equipment.

Knowledge of or ability to be trained on developing student programs and events AND/OR knowledge of or ability to provide training or support related to regarding recovery services (ie: substance use).
