Student Tools and Resources

  1. Key Tools

    Brightspace allows students 24/7 access to course-related materials, electronic dropboxes for assignments, quizzes and grades. Each student has an official university web email account. Students are required to use this email account when contacting faculty and staff at the university.

  2. Chat Options

    Student Chat allows you to directly chat with a Gateway associate and Ask a Librarian Chat allows you to chat directly with a librarian.

  3. Call Us

  4. eServices

    eServices allows you to check your student account; view grades; drop or add classes; pay tuition; track financial aid; and complete other administrative tasks.

  5. Technology Support

    Minnesota State Identity and Access Management will allow you to activate and change your StarID account. If you have other technology related questions visit the Technology Questions and Answers section.

  6. Portal

    The Portal (login required) provides information, resources and updates about the university. It is a central location for you to quickly connect to the information you need and to stay current within the university.
