Kristine Hansen

Alumni Relations

Kristine Hansen joined the staff at Metropolitan State University in 2015. As the Alumni Relations Director, she is the staff liaison to the Alumni Association Board of Directors, serves as the Managing Editor for Buzz, the alumni magazine, plans events to enhance alumni engagement, and oversees the annual faculty and staff fundraising drive for the Metro Fund.

Previously, Hansen worked at the University of Minnesota Foundation as an Associate Director of Annual Giving and as the Call Center Manager at the Science Museum of Minnesota. She is a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run Twin Cities, and a certified Kansas City Barbeque Judge.

Hansen earned a bachelor's degree in history from Metropolitan State University in 2007.
