Foundation Board of Trustees

The Metropolitan State Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, that consists with members who are of business and community leaders.

We are very enthusiastic about the future of Metropolitan State University, as it continues the journey to become "America's Premier University for Lifelong Learning." Our university is perfectly positioned to meet the demands of today's adult learners by preparing them to meet the requirements and challenges of today's marketplace, and to build a bright future for themselves, their families and the communities where they live and work.

We continue to move forward on this journey as the environment for higher education becomes more difficult with reduced government funding, higher demands from students to receive more value from their college experience, and by supporting the needs of a diverse student base. The foundation is increasing its focus on building a stronger donor base with increased endowments, which provide student scholarships and financial assistance needed for student success and academic program growth for the university.

As a foundation, we look forward to supporting the delivery of a quality, accessible and affordable education for all Metropolitan State students. I want to thank the many wonderful donors who have supported our exceptional university and its foundation.
