Biography

Laurissa Rector graduated from Saint Paul College's Interpreter Training Program in 2005. She holds National Interpreter Certification (NIC) and is an active member of both the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the Minnesota Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (MRID). For the past fifteen years Laurissa has been working primarily as an interpreter in post-secondary educational settings. She has been a staff interpreter at Metropolitan State University since October 2018.
