Biography
Since joining Metro State in 2016, Wendy Helm has served in project management and business analysis roles supporting technology projects, university planning, the Project Management Office, and Financial Management.
The first twelve years of her career was at Carlson Companies in various corporate accounting, business analysis, and Shared Services/ERP project-related roles. Before joining Metro State, she served UW-River Falls for ten years in project management and analysis-related roles.
Helm has worked on a wide variety of initiatives including enterprise website replacement, university planning, Project Management Office creation, ERP, CRM, HRS, and talent acquisition system roll-out, process improvement projects, and strategic planning.
Helm holds a BA in accounting from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Training and certifications include passing the CPA exam, Six Sigma black belt, SCUP (Society for College and University Planning) Integrated Planning, IT Service Management foundations, and Business Architecture.
