ESCI 479 Advanced Topics in Environmental Science

This course covers advanced topics in environmental science that vary from semester to semester. Because the content of each section of this course is different, students may take this course more than once for credit. Intended for Environmental Science majors in their senior year.

  • Explain and apply scientific knowledge in the selected topic of environmental science, both theoretical and experimental, at the advanced upper division level.
  • Read and interpret primary scientific literature in environmental science.
  • Recall, explain and apply the concepts, knowledge and vocabulary of environmental science at the level necessary for success in upper division and/or graduate study in this field.
