TCID 599A Special Topics in International Study

This course presents international study opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. Check the schedule for offerings. This course may be taken any number of times for credit as long as the topic is different. Depending on the topic offered, this class may count as a major requirement course; otherwise, it is considered an elective.

  • Demonstration of advanced knowledge of the topic for the course through reading, writing and discussion as well as a comprehensive final project and presentation to the class;

  • Demonstration of strategic and critical thinking about the topic of the course as applied to a specific audience, purpose and situation at an advanced level.
  • Knowledge of intercultural communication strategies and practices.
