First Generation Celebration

Join us in recognizing the experiences and achievements of first-generation college students, staff, and faculty. Enjoy light refreshments as you participate in a community art project and hear from our featured guest speaker, Chad Dull*.

Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

All Metro State students and employees are welcome to attend!

*Chad Dull will explore how poverty shapes the context in which students navigate education, while highlighting the resilience and strengths students bring with them, the barriers institutions can unintentionally create, and the role education can play in expanding opportunity and economic mobility. For more on Chad's work, see the Poverty Informed Practice website.
