The Spring 2026 Scholarship cycle is now closed. Students will be notified at the end of the semester by email of their scholarship status.
The Metro State University Foundation offers a variety of scholarships twice a year. These awards are made possible through generous gifts from alumni, friends, faculty and staff, corporations, and foundations.
The next scholarship cycle opens September 15 and closes October 15. During these dates, please log in to AwardSpring to see which scholarship are available. All eligible students are encouraged to apply.

Are there any scholarships for the summer term?
No, there are currently no scholarships available for the summer term.
Can scholarship funds be applied to my outstanding balance from last term?
No, scholarships are only applied to the upcoming fall or spring semester.
How will I know if I received a scholarship?
Emailed notifications on awarding will go to the email address you provided on the application. You will receive an email if you did not receive an award as well.
How can I view my scholarship awards?
You can view your scholarship awards by logging into AwardSpring. Make sure to read through the instructions and complete the follow-up requirements.
How will the awards be applied?
Financial Aid will apply the scholarship funds to your tuition balance. If your tuition is already paid, the scholarship funds are disbursed to the electronic banking account or mobile banking account that has been set up with Metro State.
When will I receive my scholarship funds?
Financial Aid will apply the scholarship funds to your account in the upcoming semester, following the course add and drop dates.
How many times can I apply?
You may apply any time the application cycle is open as long as you meet the eligibility requirements
