A closeted gay man, trapped in a rural nursing home, seizes a chance at freedom when his estranged sister whisks him away on a journey across Minnesota, forcing them both to confront their past and a future they never expected.

About the screenwriters
J.M. Sorensen
J.M. Sorensen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Screenwriting at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, having already acquired an Associate of Arts in Cinema Production at Los Angeles City College. To diversify her skill set, she has completed editing internships for Charlie Lapson Group and Imaginaut Entertainment in Los Angeles, along with the following workshops at Lost Forty Studios in Chisholm, MN: Grip and Electric, Production Assistant and Location Scouting, and Art Department. She has completed several short films ranging from documentary short (VOYAGE TO THE SOUTH POLE) to drama/comedy (GET THE BUNNY, SOUTHERN LIGHTS).
