Dr. Faisal Kaleem presenting at the Secure 360 Conference

Dr. Faisal Kaleem and Dr. Mousumi Munmun proudly represented Metropolitan State University at this year’s Secure360 Conference, one of the Midwest’s premier cybersecurity and risk management events. Their presentation, titled “Cybersecurity Clinic at Metro State University,” highlighted the innovative, hands-on learning model that is preparing students to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges.

The Metro State Cybersecurity Clinic engages students in direct service to small businesses, nonprofits, and public sector clients—conducting risk assessments, developing cybersecurity policies, and building digital resilience in the community. During their talk, Dr. Kaleem and Dr. Munmun shared the clinic’s impact, growth, and commitment to workforce readiness through experiential learning.

Their participation at Secure360 not only showcased the university’s leadership in cybersecurity education, but also strengthened partnerships with industry professionals and public agencies working to close the cybersecurity talent gap.
