Biography

Donovan Jackman has enjoyed teaching communication classes at Metropolitan State since 2015 and at Anoka Technical College since 1995. He also teaches sociology, so he can apply his communication skills when discussing racism, sexism, social class, politics, and religion.

Mr. Jackman earned a BS and MA from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he also worked with the speech and debate teams. He has extensive training in inclusive course design, education equity, online education, and leadership.

Mr. Jackman believes education is vital in making humanity more humane and civilization more civil. He is delighted to help the university in their mission.
