Biography

Tasha Bartz serves as the director of Student Health and Basic Needs. She leads efforts to support student well-being through programs and services focused on health access, food security, and basic needs support. Tasha received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education, and Gender and Women's Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and her Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.

Tasha is dedicated to creating equitable opportunities for student success. In her role, Tasha collaborates with campus and community partners to develop programs that address food security, general health needs, and holistic student support. Her work is grounded in a belief that students are most successful when their essential needs are met with equitable access to resources and opportunities.

Tasha is passionate about fostering a campus environment where all students feel supported, connected, and empowered to achieve their goals.
