This program accepts 80 credits transferred from China University of Technology (CUTe) or Takming University of Science and Technology (TMUST) and 42 credits will be taught by Metro State University faculty in Minnesota. Upon completion of this program, students will earn a degree from both Metro State University and their home institution.

Metro State's Dual Degree program offers courses with resident faculty who specialize in the courses being taught. The final year will be tailored to the needs of the students . Courses are scheduled through the year, with courses offered during fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Dr. Erica Berte, the College of Management's Society for Advancement of Management representative, organized a Cummins Plant tour for the College of Management on November 7, 2023. Dean Rassule Hadidi, Department Chair Dr. Denise Williams, Dr. David Bahn, the Taiwanese cohort, and graduate and undergraduate students from all majors were in attendance. Alex Savelli, managing director of Hydrogen Technologies, gave an overview of the organization and provided information about the power generation business and hydrogen technology, followed by a plant visit. The group also gained insights about the organization's vision, mission, and community initiatives.
