Rebecca "Becky" Evan joined the College of Management as an Assistant Professor of Management in 2019.
Prior to Metropolitan State University, Evan held roles at Target and Cargill in Human Resources in addition to non-profit roles focused on advancing human rights.
Evan holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from California State University, East Bay, a master's degree in public administration with an emphasis on executive leadership from Drake University, and a doctorate of business administration (DBA) from Metropolitan State University. She has presented at numerous conferences and invited talks about diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizations.
Research Interests: Enhancing organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. I’m especially interested in breaking concrete and glass ceilings so women and people of color can flourish in leadership positions.
