Are you completing the Community Leadership Fellowship with Students United? Good work and good news! You can also earn graduate credit at Metro State University when you complete the Community Leadership Fellowship Program successfully!

Community Leadership Fellowship partner program

Through the partnership, students who complete the Community Leadership Fellowship can apply as Visiting Students at the university, and be awarded four credits of graduate-level work. The credit is approved by Metro State faculty who reviewed the Community Leadership Fellowship curriculum.

How to earn your Metro State credits

  1. Participate in and complete the Community Leadership Fellowship program.
  2. Receive your certificate from Students United.
  3. Apply for free to Metro State as a Visiting Student, using the special partnership application form below: Community Leadership Fellowship Visiting Student Application
  4. When you apply to Metro State, send your Certificate of Completion to the Admissions Office.
  5. Four credits of graduate credit will be awarded to your Metro State transcript, with no tuition or fees charged. These credits can be part of the Masters of Advocacy and Political Leadership program if you are admitted for a degree. You will be able to obtain a student or official copy of your transcript.

Please note that the Visiting Students application is temporary for the recording of the credits for this partnership, only. To use the credits for a degree program, you must apply as a degree-seeking student.

Credits awarded through this partnership do not count as Metro State University residency credits.

Other higher education institutions to which you might apply as a degree-seeking student may or may not accept these credits in transfer. Transfer acceptance is up to the receiving institution.
