Giving to Grow

Mark your calendar for Metro State’s first ever day of giving

On March 26, 2026, Metro State will celebrate its first-ever Day of Giving: Giving to Grow—a day dedicated to expanding opportunity, strengthening community, and investing in the future of our students. Metro State empowers learners to rise, lead, and create lasting change. Your support helps make that possible.

This inaugural giving day focuses on three critical priorities that open doors, and fuel student success:

Student Scholarships

Scholarships transform lives. They ensure that talented, hardworking students can pursue their degrees without being held back by financial obstacles. Your gift helps students stay enrolled, stay focused, and stay on track to graduation—especially those who are the first in their families to attend college or who balance school with work and family responsibilities.

Paid Internships for College of Community Studies and Public Affairs (CCSPA) Students

Experience matters. Paid internships allow CCSPA students to apply their learning in real community settings—government agencies, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups—while earning income they often depend on. Too many students must turn down valuable opportunities because they can’t afford to work for free. Your support fuels meaningful, equity-centered career pathways and strengthens the communities Metro State serves.

Student Assistance for Emergencies (SAFE) Fund

Life happens—and when it does, students shouldn’t have to choose between meeting an urgent need and continuing their education. The SAFE Fund provides rapid, short-term assistance for housing crises, medical bills, transportation issues, and other unexpected emergencies. A small gift can prevent a big disruption, keeping students in class and moving forward.

When you give, you grow the possibilities—for students, families, and communities.
On March 26, 2026, stand with Metro State. Help us launch a tradition rooted in generosity, opportunity, and belief in every student’s potential. Together, we can make this first Day of Giving a powerful catalyst for growth.
