with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) invites you to learn about providing effective public comments for official public comment periods and public hearings, regardless of your prior experience with regulatory processes.

This free, two-hour workshop will start with an overview of the cumulative impacts analysis rule before MPCA representatives present tools and support to construct public comments for public comment periods, public hearings, and public meetings. They will then share timelines for the cumulative impacts analysis rule’s upcoming comment period and public hearing so attendees can stay engaged in the process.

Dinner and refreshments will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

What are “cumulative impacts?” Cumulative impacts are the combined effects of current and past pollution and how they impact residents’ health, well-being, and quality of life in different communities.
