Biography

With a background in marketing and communications, Heather has spent over 20 years helping organizations connect to their customers and drive engagement through a strong brand voice and storytelling. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Breakthrough Twin Cities, a non-profit that helps under resourced youth get access to college through a summer prep program and is Co-Founder of Ready.Set.Pivot (RSP), an organization that guides high achieving women to their next best thing. Heather’s current teaching assignment is with the College of Management where she has been teaching Marketing 300 since 2008.

In her newest role as associate director of the Center for Faculty Development, Heather organizes orientations and other forms of support for new and continuing community faculty members, and coordinates programming on antiracist pedagogies and publicly-engaged interdisciplinary teaching and learning.
